Luna Wristlet Workshop with Be Mandy Things

Ready to build your bagmaking skills with a clear, step-by-step approach? In this hands-on class, you’ll make the Luna Wristlet while learning foundational techniques you can use again and again.

The Luna Wristlet features a zippered closure, two interior slip pockets, and a removable wristlet strap, making it a fun and functional project you’ll actually use.

We’ll walk through each step together as you learn how to install a zipper, work with interfacing for structure, create a wristlet strap with hardware, and assemble a clean, lined wristlet with a polished finish.

This class is beginner-friendly, but it’s best suited for those who have some basic sewing experience and have completed at least one bag or similar project.

You’ll leave with a finished wristlet and the confidence to keep making more on your own.

Stripes, Tabs & Wristlet: (5) 1/8 yard
Top Band: 1/8 yard
Exterior back - 1/4 yard

LINING FABRIC
Main Lining Panels 1/4 yard
Pockets: 1/4 yard
Pocket Binding: 1/8 yard

INTERFACING
SF101: 1/2 yard (20" wide)
Fusible Fleece (Pellon 987F): 1/4 yard
Fusible Thermolam (Pellon 971F): 1/4 yard

NOTIONS
9" or longer zipper
1/2" D-ring & swivel lobster claw clasp

Before Class
Please have all fabric and interfacing cut and labeled before class.
Do not apply interfacing to the stripe panels or top band, we will complete those steps together in class. Bring your printed Luna Wristlet pattern or have access to it on your device.
